Maryam is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 10 years of experience in medical sciences and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. She works with young adults and seniors, offering a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, seen, and supported.

As someone who has navigated the journey of immigration, she understands how complex identity, transitions, and belonging can feel. Her work is grounded in empathy, empowerment, and cultural sensitivity. Maryam supports clients through challenges like anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, parenting struggles, self-esteem, racial identity, and women’s concerns.

Therapy with her is collaborative and personalized—As she draws from different approaches like CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, internal family systems (IFS), and person-centered work, depending on what resonates best with you.

Maryam is committed to growing alongside her clients, continuing her learning through supervision, consultation, and ongoing training. She is also a member of CRPO and CCPA.

She offers sessions in English, Urdu, and Hindi—because she believes language and culture matter in feeling truly understood.

virtual sessions Wednesday to Friday (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Session fee: $150, with e-transfer payment accepted.
